Joe Biden &
Kamala Harris

Throughout his career, Joe Biden has worked to protect our environment, address climate change, and fight for the most vulnerable communities. Biden’s climate plan will immediately put the United States on track for a 100% clean energy economy with policies that center justice and equity and restore the United States’ global climate leadership.

Kamala Harris is a long-time champion for climate action and environmental justice. In the Senate, she’s introduced the Clean School Bus Act, the Climate Equity Act, and the Environmental Justice for All Act.

The Biden-Harris administration will listen to scientists, hold polluters accountable, prioritize environmental justice, and build a clean energy economy.

Donald J. Trump

President Trump has rolled back over 100 environmental safeguards, putting the health and well-being of our communities at risk. Since the coronavirus pandemic hit, Trump has been pushing for massive Big Oil bailouts while his EPA keeps rolling back public health protections. Trump’s actions also perpetuate environmental racism and its unconscionable impacts on communities of color.

The fact is, Trump doesn’t believe what scientists and experts say — he thinks he knows best. He repeatedly denied scientific warnings about the threat of coronavirus, calling it a “hoax,” just as he ignored 97% of climate scientists, NASA and the Department of Defense by calling climate change a “hoax.” Trump’s refusal to listen to science means we’re feeling the disastrous consequences of coronavirus and will see the increasing damage from climate change.
