LCV Victory Fund Launches Another $1.1 Million in House Ads

Kelci Hobson, khobson@lcv.org

Washington, D.C. – Today, LCV Victory Fund launched another $1.1 million in digital ad programming focused on David Valadao (CA-22), Tom Barrett (MI-07), and Mike Bouchard (MI-10) and programming in new territory focused on David Flippo (NV-02).

“Voters know that corporate interests are driving up their costs,” said Sara Schreiber, Senior Vice President of Campaigns at LCV Victory Fund. “They are tired of leaders who are repeatedly voting to raise their costs, so Big Tech and Big Pharma can rake in record profits. Voters deserve leaders that will protect them from absurd rate hikes, work to lower costs and work for them instead of their donors.”

LCV Victory Fund and affiliated entities announced their plan to surge to over $110 million into key House, Senate, and state races. The organization’s primary strategic priority this cycle is to return both the Senate and House to Democratic control. The climate group initially committed $50 million to its midterm efforts, but as voters’ concerns about energy prices and other climate-related issues continued to grow, the group’s leadership raised unprecedented resources. The investment marks the largest total spent by an outside issue group in support of Democratic candidates, and surpasses the $100 million the group invested in 2022.

We have names, Congressman Valadao

Families we’re raising

Jobs the nation depends on

And every time you voted with Trump,

You voted against us

When you voted to kick us off Medi-Cal

Voted for Trump’s tariffs

That drove up our costs

When you voted for Trump’s war in Iran

And sent gas prices soaring

You voted against us

Against us

So after 12 years of enduring you in office

We’re returning the favor

MI-10: Dress Up (Opposing Mike Bouchard)

He was handed his job at a lobbying firm with ties to his family

Now, Mike Bouchard wants to be a Congressman

It’s a big job, especially with high prices hurting Michiganders

But, Bouchard’s old lobbyist boss is funding his campaign

And companies like the firm’s clients from Big Pharma to health insurers

Will want the profits to keep rolling in

Bouchard may try to dress the part

But he’ll never work for you

MI-07: Sign Up (Supporting Will Lawrence)

I’ve been a Republican for 40 or 50 years

But I didn’t sign up for this

They are building data centers near water

And driving up our power bills

We can’t afford that

And Washington is too busy protecting billionaires to do anything about it

Will Lawrence will stand up for us

He will freeze new data center construction

Until we get answers and lower our costs

Our kids deserve clean water and a fair shot

We don’t need higher bills so big tech companies can get richer

I vote for the person, not the party

I’m voting for Will Lawrence

NV-02: What the Flippo?  (Opposing David Flippo)

What’s David Flippo thinking about?

Maybe one of his many scandals

Or his countless conflicts of interest

Or his record of siding with corporations at our expense

He strongly supported a bill that gave data centers an $80 billion tax break

He supported giving them our tax dollars

While they jack up our utility rates even higher

One thing he’s not thinking about,

You

Your family

Or Northern Nevada

Republicans, Independents and Democrats agree

David Flippo is unfit for Congress
