Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters has tied himself to Big Oil and the MAGA radicals who want to upend our democracy. He continues to question climate science – ignoring the severe and devastating impacts of climate change in Arizona and calling efforts to confront the climate crisis “stupid.” Masters, whose campaign is being propped up by right-wing billionaire Peter Thiel, has also aggressively pushed the “Big Lie” that Donald Trump won the 2020 election. The Washington Post has even described Masters as having embraced “Trump’s extreme style” and reported that he cites Trump as his political inspiration. Unsurprisingly, Trump has endorsed Masters and campaigned with him prior to the Arizona Senate primary.
