LCV Victory Fund Launches $1.6 Million in More House Field Programs

Washington, D.C– Today, LCV Victory Fund launched an additional $1.6 million investment in field organizing programs focused on key House races in Colorado, Florida, and Virginia. Canvassers will knock on over 160,000 doors in support of Manny Rutinel (CO-08), Jared Moskowitz (FL-25), Shannon Taylor (VA-01), and Elaine Luria (VA-02).

This announcement adds to a previously announced $4.45 million field organizing program in Michigan, Ohio, and Texas that includes Senate, House and gubernatorial races. This program  has already knocked over one million doors and is a partnership with state affiliates and the Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy PAC.

“With less than 30 days until the election, we are going door to door to talk with voters and make sure they know who will lower costs, especially energy costs, and who will side with billionaire CEOs,” said Sara Schreiber, Senior Vice President of Campaigns for LCV Victory Fund. “Voters deserve leaders who will stand up to corporate interests and fight for the health and safety of our communities, families and environment.”

LCV Victory Fund research shows that 42% of swing voters are “very concerned” about rising electricity costs. This field program includes targeting the “Energy Bill Voter,” who is more likely to be women, Black and/or Latino, non-college-educated, less engaged with politics, independent, moderate, or soft partisan voters, and are crucial to a 2026 midterms win.

Below is more information on the field programs in Colorado, Florida, and Virginia. These programs will include a layered combination of door-to-door canvassing, mail, and phone programs:

Colorado: House District CO-08 ($500,000)
Canvassers in the Denver area will knock on doors for Manny Rutinel and talk with voters about Rutinel’s plans to reduce energy costs and protect Colorado’s clean air and water. Rutinel’s opponent, Gabe Evans, was named to this year’s Dirty Dozen for his vote in support of the Republican Tax Law, as known as the Big Ugly Bill, and the SPEED Act permitting bill.

Florida: House District FL-25 ($500,000)
In Hollywood and surrounding areas, canvassers will connect with voters about Jared Moskowitz’s plans to support coastal communities through faster and better response rates and by protecting Florida’s coastline. They will also talk with voters about how Moskowitz will address rising costs from housing to health care to energy costs to help ensure Floridians do not have to struggle to make ends meet.

Virginia: House Districts VA-01 and VA-02 ($600,000)
Canvassers in Henrico and Chesterfield counties will connect with voters about how Shannon Taylor will rein in data centers and help to keep costs low. In Virginia Beach, canvassers will talk to voters about how Elaine Luria will protect the Chesapeake Bay and Virginia’s environment, make sure everyone has clean air and water, and help keep utility costs low.

Earlier this summer, LCV Victory Fund announced plans to invest at least $50 million in the 2026 midterm election cycle. LCV Victory Fund’s priorities this cycle include flipping the House, protecting and expanding pro-clean energy seats in the U.S. Senate, and supporting the work of state affiliates to elect pro-clean energy and climate candidates up and down the ballot. The investment will include a strategic mix of paid media, field, mail and work with content creators.
