LCV Victory Fund Launches $4 Million House Ad Blitz

Kelci Hobson, khobson@lcv.org

Washington, D.C.– Today, LCV Victory Fund launched $4 million in digital House ads focused on data centers, energy costs, clean water and home insurance. The ads will run in CA-22, CO-08, FL-14, IA-01, MI-04, MI-07, MT-01, and PA-07. Last month, LCV Victory Fund named David Valadao (CA-22), Gabe Evans (CO-08), and Bill Huizenga (MI-04) to this year’s Dirty Dozen.

“From Big Oil to Big Tech, voters are fed up with corporate executives jacking up prices and raking in record profits, while they foot the bill,” said Sara Schreiber, Senior Vice President of Campaigns at LCV Victory Fund. “People deserve elected officials who will stand up to corporate executives, instead of taking their money and giving them bailouts and tax breaks. Everyone of these ads tell this same story and we will make sure voters see them on the screens they watch the most as they decide who will fight for them in Washington.”

A new analysis from The Cook Political Report identified the “doubly disenchanted” voter as a crucial voting bloc that could determine the outcome of the Midterms. These voters are defined as being under the age of 35, Republican-leaning Independents and lower income/education. According to Cook, “they draw the line on lowering gas prices and energy costs, giving Democrats a 37%-27% advantage – suggesting it’s the one critical pain point that could ultimately cause them to defect.”

Earlier this summer, LCV Victory Fund announced plans to invest at least $50 million in the 2026 midterm election cycle. LCV Victory Fund’s priorities this cycle include flipping the House, protecting and expanding pro-clean energy seats in the U.S. Senate, and supporting the work of state affiliates to elect pro-clean energy and climate candidates up and down the ballot. The investment will include a strategic mix of paid media, field, mail and work with content creators.

CA-22: Pissed (Opposing David Valadao)

We can’t do anything extra
Bills have changed
We were paying $200 a month and now it’s up over $300
And the thing is PG&E has given David Valadao over $100,000
And Valadao has given them massive tax cuts
I’m pissed off, like this man is benefitting on the backs of his constituents
I do not trust Valadao at all
Valadao has had 12 years to prove himself and he doesn’t deserve another chance

CO-08: Can’t Afford (Opposing Gabe Evans)
Script below

Filling up
Keeping the lights on
Feeding our families
Costs are skyrocketing in Colorado
And we can thank Gabe Evans
He voted to give Donald Trump a blank check for the war in Iran
And Gabe Evans voted eight times for the Trump tariffs
That blew up family budgets with higher costs for gas, groceries and farm supplies
Leaving Colorado families and farmers paying more and more
We just can’t afford Gabe Evans

FL-14: Billfold (Opposing Mike Beltran)
Script below

Mike Beltran puts his corporate donors first
No matter what it costs us
Our utility bills are already among the highest in the nation
And Beltran voted to let utility companies charge us even more
And while our home insurance rate rise the fastest
Beltran used one billion dollars in taxpayer money to bail out private insurance companies
Mike Beltran’s donors put money in his pocket
And he let’s them take money out of ours

IA-01: The Feed (Opposing Mariannette Miller-Meeks)
Script below

It seems like everyday somebody else has cancer
Iowa’s got one of the fastest growing cancer rates
Something is wrong
So why did Mariannette Miller-Meeks vote to slash cancer research
And make it easier to pollute our water
And kick 100,000 Iowans off their healthcare?
Maybe because she is taking money from polluters and the health insurance industry
While we’re fighting for our lives, Mariannette Miller-Meeks is selling us out

MI-04: Perfect Match (Opposing Bill Huizenga)
Script below

Bill Huizenga took almost $200,000 dollars from data center interests
And voted to give data center developers an $80 billion tax break
Bill Huizenga got his campaign money
And Michigan families pay more for electricity

MI-07: Everything (Opposing Tom Barrett)
Script below

Utilities, groceries, just about everything costs more these days
Tom Barrett and his corporate donors are making it worse
Thanks to Barrett utility prices are expected to rise by $320 bucks
And insurance premiums by nearly 60%
Plus, the average Michigan family is paying over 5,000 dollars more for everyday goods
From bacon to coffee to clothes
Because of Barrett’s votes to keep tariffs in place
Michigan can’t afford Tom Barrett

MT-01: Incredible Deal (Opposing Aaron Flint)
Script below

Is your neighborhood too quiet?
Is your water too clean?
Paying too little for electricity?
Well, listen up, Montana
Because we’ve got an incredible deal for you!
Dirty water, sky-high bills
That’s right a brand new data center could be yours
But wait, there’s more
It’s just one easy payment of $80 billion
And Aaron Flits supported giving it to us
You heard that right,
He took data center money and gave us a tax break
And now we can build one in your backyard
Act now

PA-07: Struck (Opposing Ryan Mackenzie)
Script below

Greedy politician Ryan Mackenzie struck it rich with oil and gas companies, with utility companies
Mackenzie took tens of thousands of dollars from them,
Then voted to raise our utility rates
That’s more for him, more for them
And hundreds of dollars more a month in bills for us
Ever wonder why the Lehigh Valley pays 10% more on gas and electric than the rest of the country?
Because when politicians like Ryan Mackenzie see an opportunity,
They cash in
