In Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, LCV Action Fund-endorsed Janelle Bynum is challenging Republican incumbent Lori Chavez-DeRemer. In the Oregon State House, State Representative Janelle Bynum has fought to make the state a clean energy hub for the country. Lori Chavez-DeRemer sided with extreme MAGA Republicans on the extreme “Default on America” plan which would have repealed clean energy tax credits and threatened to force a national recession if Republicans didn’t get their way on gutting environmental protections.
