In Ohio’s 13th Congressional District, LCV Action Fund-endorsed Representative Emilia Sykes is facing a challenge from Republican former State Senator Kevin Coughlin. Emilia Sykes has a 100% LCV score and stood up to block extremists seeking to dismantle clean energy investments and eliminate public health safeguards. Kevin Coughlin is a climate denier who said that the science behind climate change is “sketchy.” Coughlin would join the extreme anti-environment Republicans in Congress giving handouts to Big Oil.
