In Michigan’s 8th congressional district, LCV Action Fund-endorsed Rep. Elissa Slotkin  is running for re-election against Paul Junge. In 2018, Slotkin won her race by less than 4 points, while Trump carried the district by 7 points in 2016.

LCV Victory Fund’s 2020 poll of battleground House districts, which included MI-08, found that environmental messaging, both critiques of anti-environmental politicians and positive messaging in support of environmental champions, can swing competitive House races.
