LCV Victory Fund Launches Over $5 Million in Ad Programming

Kelci Hobson, khobson@lcv.org

Washington, D.C.– Today, LCV Victory Fund launched over $5 million in broadcast and digital ad programming in the Iowa Senate race and multiple House races. This investment includes a $1.5 million digital ad program opposing Ashley Hinson in the Iowa Senate race. Additionally, this spend includes ad programming calling out Rhett Marques (AL-02), Jay Feely (AZ-01), Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), Gabe Evans (CO-08), Mike Beltran (FL-14), Jennifer Balkcom (NC-11), Anthony DiLorenzo (NH-01), Scott Perry (PA-10), and Derrick Van Orden (WI-03). This year, Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), Gabe Evans (CO-08) and Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) were named to LCV Victory Fund’s Dirty Dozen.

“In these final two weeks, we are connecting with voters on the issues they care about most– rising costs, including utility costs, and corruption,” said Sara Schreiber, Senior Vice President of Campaigns at the LCV Victory Fund. “Voters are tired of elected officials who are prioritizing the corporations benefitting from skyrocketing costs, while they struggle to make ends meet. They are frustrated with Big Tech and Big Oil making record profits. Voters deserve better, they deserve leaders who will prioritize people over profit.”

LCV Victory Fund’s priorities this cycle include flipping the House, protecting and expanding pro-clean energy seats in the U.S. Senate, and supporting the work of state affiliates to elect pro-clean energy and climate candidates up and down the ballot. IA Senate: Window (Opposing Ashley Hinson)
Script below

It’s all more expensive
Way more expensive, because of Ashley Hinson
Ashley Hinson took over $160,000 from drug companies
Then she voted to raise our prices
She voted against allowing Medicare to negotiate lower prices
And she voted against capping the cost of insulin
Ashley Hinson got paid
And then she turned on us
She sold us out before
And she’ll sell us out again

AL-02: Southern Hospitality (Opposing Rhett Marques)
Script below

In Alabama, we pride ourselves on Southern Hospitality
But Rhett Marques could use a refresher
He’s inviting data centers into our homes
There’s plenty of places in Alabama for a data center
But not his own
I personally don’t want one next to me
He’s letting Big Tech raise our electricity bills
Why?
Maybe because he made personal investments in data centers
Maybe because he’s backed by a Big Tech super PAC
Rhett Marques bless his heart

AZ-01: Proud (Opposing Jay Feely)
Script below

Proud MAGA,
That’s Jay Feely
No wonder Trump hand picked him for Congress
We need people that are going to fight for him
And he’ll push his agenda too
An agenda that means higher costs for Arizona families
Tariffs, more data centers, health care cuts
And a costly, endless war
That sends gas prices soaring
Jay Feely says he’ll fight for Trump
You deserve someone in Congress who will fight for you

AZ-06: Long Haul (Opposing Juan Ciscomani)
Script below

I have confidence in the President
You have got to be kidding me
After the air force, I was a long haul trucker for 20 years
But today with Trump’s tariffs and the war in Iran pushing prices up
Everything is harder
And Juan Ciscomani,
He voted for Trump’s tariffs and the war
He has confidence in the President’s plan
Confidence?
Arizona families can’t afford Juan Ciscomani

CO-08: Scooby (Opposing Gabe Evans)
Script below

Around every corner a new fright
What is the light bill going to be?
A full tank costs what?
How much are groceries?
And who is to blame for this horror show?
Gabe Evans
He voted with Donald Trump 100% of the time
Including to support the tariffs eight times
And Evans voted to give Trump unlimited power to wage war in Iran
Everything has gotten more expensive
And Gabe Evans is behind it

FL-14: The Difference (Opposing Mike Beltran)
Script below

Tallahassee politician Mike Beltran is selling us out
He took thousands from utility and data center interests
And then voted to let utilities raise our rates
He took thousands from the insurance industry too
And then used a billion in taxpayer money to bail them out
But Kathy Castor is fighting for working families
Kathy’s leading the charge to ban data centers from raising our rates
And to crack down on corruption
She voted to ban Congress from trading stocks
Kathy Castor puts working families first

NC-11: Balkcom Energy (Opposing Jennifer Balkcom)
Script below

At Balkcom’s energy division,
We partnered with Duke Energy to create what we call,
Profit synergy
Duke donates to Jennifer Balkcom
She protects Duke’s profits
You pay more
And now, a real Duke customer
My energy rates are skyrocketing
But Jennifer Balkcom voted twice to cut costs for corporations like Duke
Jennifer Balkcom works for Balkcom,
Not you

NH-01: DiLorenzo Show (Opposing Anthony DiLorenzo)
Script below

Wow, welcome back to the Anthony DiLorenzo show
Today we’re quizzing Anthony on the issues
Trump’s healthcare cuts,
I love the Big Beautiful Bill
The Iran War
I would support the President
Everything else,
I support the President
On the issues, I can’t argue with him
And for our daily trouble,
Trump’s policies are raising our costs
Would you still vote for him?
I’d vote for President Trump 1,000 times in a row
DiLorenzo choose Trump over New Hampshire every time

PA-10: Six Times (Opposing Scott Perry)
Script below

Scott Perry voted six times to continue the war in Iran
Spiking gas prices
Six times
A war costing taxpayers tens of billions of dollars
And making everything more expensive
After nearly 30 years in politics
Perry’s taken hundreds of thousands in campaign contributions
From the corporations raising our costs
And helps them profit
Scott Perry, too many times for them,
None for us

WI-03: Everything (Opposing Derrick Van Orden)
Script below

They corrupt everything
The greedy data centers
Corrupting our water, our utility bills, our Wisconsin way of life
And corrupting politicians like Data Center Derrick Van Orden
Data Center Derrick gobbled up tens of thousands in campaign cash
From the data center industry
And Data Center Derrick voted to give data center developers over 80 billion in tax breaks
Billion, with a B
Derrick Van Orden and data center corruption
He’s on their side now
