LCV Victory Fund Reserves $1.5M of Ad Time in AZ for Anti-McSally Spot
Phoenix, AZ — LCV Victory Fund reserved $1.5 million for a TV ad campaign in opposition to Senator Martha McSally’s re-election that will run from June 23 – July 15 in the Phoenix media market. LCV Victory Fund issued the following statement on the ad buy from National Campaigns Director Emily Crerand:
“Voters deserve to know that Martha McSally sides with Trump and Big Polluters and it’s putting the health of Arizona families at extreme risk. Arizona families breathe some of the worst air pollution in the country and Arizona communities, especially communities of color, are at an elevated risk of health complications from that dirtier air — including more severe coronavirus outcomes. Instead of fighting for affordable healthcare and cleaner air, McSally has opposed the Affordable Care Act and protections for pre-existing conditions at every turn, supported Trump’s rollback of the Clean Power Plan which would put no meaningful limits on carbon pollution, and has taken over $650,000 in campaign donations from the corporate oil and gas industry.”
