LCV Victory Fund Launches New $550k Ad Buy In NH-01
Washington, D.C. – Today, LCV Victory Fund launched a new $550,000 ad program in NH-01 supporting Stefany Shaheen in the Democratic Primary. The ads feature Andrea Amico, a Portsmouth resident, wife, and mother of three children and an advocate for clean water and highlight Stefany Shaheen’s leadership fighting to protect drinking water from toxic PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals” and her commitment to take on the Trump Administration as they attempt to roll back protections for New Hampshire families. The ad campaign comes ahead of the New Hampshire primary on September 8th.

Earlier this month, Republicans in Congress voted against a Congressional Review Act that would give people the right to know about dangerous PFAS chemicals in their water. These “forever chemicals” have been linked to numerous issues including cancers, kidney and liver diseases, hormone disruption, neurological developmental problems and more.
“As the Trump Administration continues to roll back clean water standards, Granite Staters deserve a leader like Stefany Shaheen who will stand up to the Trump administration and fight to protect clean water from toxic chemicals,” said Sara Schreiber, Senior Vice President of Campaigns for LCV Victory Fund. “Now more than ever, we need to ensure that we send clean water champions to Congress who will fight Big Polluters, advocate for clean air and water, and work to keep energy costs lower.”
These ads will run through the September 8th New Hampshire primary and will air on cable, Direct TV and radio, reaching voters across the district. LCV Victory Fund and affiliated entities previously announced that they plan to invest at least $50 million in the 2026 midterm election cycle overall.

I still remember when we learned PFAS was in our community’s drinking water
Stefany Shaheen fought alongside all of us to secure critical testing
At the time, there were a lot of leaders saying, well, we don’t know what to do
And Stefany wasn’t afraid to be like, well, we have to do something
Now she is standing up to the Trump Administration’s attempts to weaken drinking water protections
