LCV Victory Fund Invests $400,000 in TV and Digital Ad Buy in Support of Seth Magaziner in RI-02 Primary
Washington, D.C. – Today, LCV Victory Fund announced a $400,000 investment in a new ad in support of Seth Magaziner in the Democratic primary to represent Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District. Beginning today, the ad will run on broadcast and cable throughout the Providence, RI media market and on digital streaming TV for the final two weeks before the September 13 primary.
The ad highlights Magaziner’s critical role in turning Rhode Island into a national clean energy leader throughout his time as the state’s General Treasurer. Magaziner created energy efficiency programs that helped towns like West Warwick decarbonize their energy supply, and helped support over 3,000 jobs and save small businesses money. He was also a founding member of Climate Jobs Rhode Island, a broad coalition of labor, environmental and elected community partners committed to a just transition to a clean energy economy.
WATCH: “Leader”
“We need proven, innovative climate leaders like Seth Magaziner in Congress who will use every tool in the toolbox to advance climate justice, build a clean energy economy, and create jobs,” said Eva Estrada, LCV Victory Fund Regional Campaigns Director. “Rhode Island has become a trailblazer for clean energy under Magaziner’s leadership as Treasurer, and we are confident that he will continue to be a strong voice for climate, jobs, and justice in Congress – unlike Republican Allan Fung.”
LCV Action Fund announced its endorsement of Seth Magaziner in May.

“Leader”
The climate is changing all around us.
That’s why as state treasurer Seth Magaziner helped our state become a leader in clean energy
Moving away from pollution and putting Rhode Islanders to work
In Congress, Seth’s pledged to return big oil company profits back to consumers
Or, Republican Allan Fung would help give control of Congress to extreme MAGA Republicans and the Big Oil companies
It’s an easy choice
Seth Magaziner for Congress
