In New York’s 4th Congressional District, LCV Action Fund-endorsed Laura Gillen is challenging Republican incumbent Anthony D’Esposito. As Town Supervisor in Hempstead, Laura Gillen fought for clean drinking water and led efforts to revitalize clean water infrastructure. Anthony D’Esposito has been a vocal opponent of clean energy, siding with MAGA Republicans to repeal historic investments in clean energy and opposing a major new clean energy infrastructure project in New York. He even cosponsored a measure calling for a halt to offshore wind development along the entire Atlantic coast.
