Michigan Governor
Last year alone, Rep. John James cast 32 anti-environment votes in Congress, including votes to weaken clean-water protections, expand fossil-fuel development, and gut environmental review and public input (LCV). He’s earned a dismal Lifetime Score of 7% in LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard. He has promised to repeal Michigan’s Clean Energy and Jobs Act and voted for the Big Beautiful Bill which has cost Michigan thousands of clean energy and manufacturing jobs and gave major data center tax breaks to Big Tech. Defeating James would help Michigan defend its clean-energy progress, safeguard Michigan’s Great Lakes, protect communities from unchecked data-center development, lower household energy costs, and continue creating clean-energy jobs.
