Christine Drazan

2026 Dirty Dozen in the States

Oregon Governor

Nominated by Oregon League of Conservation Voters

The governor’s race is a rematch from 4 years ago, pitting State Sen. Christine Drazan against incumbent Tina Kotek. Drazan was also on the 2022 Dirty Dozen in the States list alongside a 3rd party candidate in the race. Drazan has opposed every single major climate win in recent state history, including on legislation regarding 100% Clean Energy for All and the Clean Energy Jobs bill. She also voted against the POWER Act to keep Oregon families and small businesses footing the utility costs big for large energy users, like data centers. Drazan has a lifetime OLCV score of 13%, and 0% on OLCV’s 2025-26 Scorecard. She has also taken significant money from oil and gas interests, including contributions from oil and gas interests, big timber, and trucking interests. Drazan also holds the distinction of leading the House Republicans in a walkout of the 2020 legislative session to kill the Clean Energy Jobs bill. As Governor, Drazan has publicly stated she would repeal Oregon’s landmark Climate Protection Program on Day 1.
