With an abysmal 7% environmental score in her first term, Leticia Castillo has consistently sided with corporate polluters over the health and well being of constituents, furthering the environmental degradation and treatment of her Inland Empire community as a sacrifice zone. This seat is critical to get California back on track. It is a critical position for deciding climate justice and environmental justice policy and could empower the state’s assembly to set a clean energy agenda in upcoming sessions.
