Senator Maggie Hassan has been a strong environmental champion in the Senate. With communities across the Granite State already feeling the effects of climate change, Hassan helped pass a historic plan to tackle the climate crisis – legislation that will create new clean energy jobs for New Hampshire, move us past our dangerous dependence on fossil fuels, and lower energy bills by $1,800 a year for the average family. She has also fought to keep families healthy by removing lead pipes and lead paint in homes and protecting communities from harmful toxic PFAS chemicals in drinking water. And with oil companies posting record profits, Hassan is fighting to hold Big Oil accountable and end the industry’s special tax breaks. During her first term in the Senate, she’s earned an impressive lifetime score of 99% in LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.

Don Bolduc
Republican Don Bolduc is an extreme election denier and conspiracy supporter who has falsely claimed that “there was a tremendous amount of fraud” in the 2020 election. He’s so out-of-touch with Granite State voters that even a super PAC tied to Mitch McConnell has called him unelectable. Bolduc also supports Donald Trump’s failed pro-Big Oil energy policies, as well as the dangerous Keystone XL pipeline. And despite New Hampshire already experiencing the impacts of climate change – threatening the state’s tourism economy – Bolduc opposed the Inflation Reduction Act, which will reduce harmful climate pollution in addition to creating new clean energy jobs and saving consumers money.
