KS-03

In Kansas’ 3rd congressional district, LCV Action Fund-endorsed Rep. Sharice Davids is running against former chair of the Kansas Republican Party Amanda Adkins in a rematch of the 2020 election. In Congress, Davids has been an outspoken advocate for climate action, clean energy jobs, and environmental justice – earning an impressive lifetime score of 96% in LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard. She also helped pass the historic Inflation Reduction Act, which will save consumers money, create new jobs, and reduce climate pollution. Adkins, whose campaigns have received more than $100,000 from oil and gas interests, opposed the Inflation Reduction Act. And under her chairmanship, the Kansas Republican Party platform stated that harmful carbon emissions “should not be declared a pollutant.”
