In Florida’s 26th congressional district, LCV Action Fund-endorsed Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is running for re-election against Carlos Gimenez. In 2018, Mucarsel-Powell won her race by less than 2 points, while Hillary Clinton carried the district by 16 points in 2016.

LCV Victory Fund’s 2020 poll of battleground House districts, which included FL-26, found that environmental messaging, both critiques of anti-environmental politicians and positive messaging in support of environmental champions, can swing competitive House races.
